First of all, I pray you will all have a very holy, Christ-filled Advent Season. Here we are beginning our prepartions a little at a time. Today we got out Rose Marie's nativity set, and she loves it! I think every character has kissed and adored Jesus at least 10 times. The Angel flies all over the house talking about, "Kiss, JeJe" (kissing Jesus). At least she knows where adoration belongs. Just for kicks, here is a nativity picture from last Advent:
It is amazing what a difference a year can make.

That is really sweet! Isn't it amaznig how little ones can draw you closer to God and make you think about our faith in ways you never dreamed? ;)
"Let the children come to me." Jesus our tender Lord knows how we grow to adults and all of a sudden we miss all of those wonderful things that children by nature know and do. Thank you Rose for reminding Marmie to stop and smile and "kiss JeJe".
Thanks Mom! That means so much that you see it that way! She reminds me to stop and wonder at the crib of Our Lord!
That is such a beautiful picture of Rose Marie!!Her little eyes look so blue and so compleatly enthralled! You can bet that if the children of bethlehem had know that Baby Jesus was coming they would have prepared the stable for him and sat there waiting for him to come! Isn't it amazing that children who may only know that their is a special baby coming, can prepare and wait with expectation, When we who know who he is, can forget his coming? Rose is a beautiful reminder of innocence and trust!
